High speed gates are made of extra-durable polyvinyl chloride material adjusted to suit industrial environments. Lateral gate profiles are made of galvanised steel. Maximum speed yielded by a III phase electric motor is 0.8 m/s, whereas a I phase frequency motor yields the speed of 2.5 m/s. Motors are connected to an optical anti-penetration sensor, which is built into the lower sealing rubber of the gate, and photo sensors in the lateral guides. By replacing galvanised material with stainless steel components, high speed gates can also be adjusted for use at food production and storage facilities.
